The 4 Best Things About These Free Printable Father’s Day Cards
Easy to assemble
There is quite a bit of cutting so younger children might need some help. However, assembly is pretty easy. All you need to do is cut out the large box and then cut out the inner rectangle on the top. That is the “tool box” in which you will put all the tools. Then, to make the back, set the cut out box on top of another piece of paper and trace it. Cut out the traced shape and apply glue to the edges.
Place the piece with the cut out rectangle on top so that you now have a pocket in which to put the tools so they don’t fall out. Then, glue the “Father’s Day Toolbox” piece on the front. Now, all you need to do is cut out the tools and put them inside of your free Father’s Day printable cards.
Includes writing prompts
One of my favorite things about these free printable Father’s Day cards is that they include writing prompts to help kids think of things that they love about their dads. Kids can use the ten included writing prompts to tell him why he’s the best dad, what they love doing with him, their favorite things about him, and more. Even the youngest kids can participate. The tools are large and leave enough space for kids’ thoughts, and their shaky, big letters.
Print one for each child
Because these are free printable Father’s Day cards that you can download and print for your family, you can save money and simply print one set for each child. Each child can express their own thoughts and color the toolbox and tools they way they want. So, even though dad gets two toolbox free printable Father’s Day cards, each is still unique.
